Burnettramic acid A is a fungal metabolite originally isolated from A. burnettii that has diverse biological activities.1 It is active against B. subtilis, S. aureus, C. albicans, and S. cerevisiae (IC50s = 2.3, 5.9, 0.5, and 0.2 μg/ml, respectively).
