Chloramine-T is a common reagent in a variety of synthetic processes.1 It has been used as a reagent in aminohydroxylation and allylic amination reactions, as a nitrogen source for the aziridination of alkenes and olefins, and in the deprotection of thio groups in sulfur-containing compounds, among others.
